So ladies I'm wondering how many have heard of inner glory? I'd imagine not too many, since we tend to put great emphasis on outer beauty. I don't think that we even phantom God using our brokenness to beautify the world. So therefore we try super hard to fix ourselves up to fit in, not even realizing that it is actually our brokenness that causes us to stand out, to be used by God.
Believe it or not God handpicks broken, fragmented souls such as you & i to manifest his glory in the Earth. He makes our brokenness so beautiful inwardly that his presence living in us seeps through our pores drawing others to him. There is nothing quite like being beautifully broken. Its almost like God takes delight in putting us back together again so he can put us on display for the world to see, what great showmanship. As the saying goes "presentation is everything". So lets look at how the potter does his work within us.
This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: "Go down to the potter’s house, and there I will give you my message." So I went down to the potter’s house, and I saw him working at the wheel. But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.
Then the word of the Lord came to me. He said, “Can I not do with you, Israel, as this potter does?” declares the Lord. “Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand, Israel.
While studying preparing for this blog post I looked up the word marred. It means to be be disfigured in appearance. So God is saying that the same thing the potter does with the disfigured clay he can do with us. This should give each of us hope & promise knowing that in God's hands we too can be made new & whole again!
Regardless of how you see or view yourself that is, your brokenness. God has a purpose for your life. You were fearfully & wonderfully made. Don't you ever forget that. He has an expected future for your life even in the midst of all the broken pieces. Give him your heart today & let him put you back together again you mighty woman of God. So that in the end your life will have counted for something. No doubt about it your story isn't mine & my story isn't yours but our brokenness is the common ground. Together touching & agreeing were certainly capable of shaking up the world for the kingdom of Heaven even with all of our flaws & imperfections.
"I will praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, i know that full well."
As you go forward in your daily journey I extend love & peace to each of you. I pray that you find your "it" and that you OWN IT. That the chains of this world be broken off of you & that you walk in the light that God intended you to walk in.
With dedication & servitude
