GRACE AMPLIFIED

I absolutely love music! Just give me a pair of Bose speakers with a good amplifier & whatever I'm listening to becomes magical. Please don't let the song have great bass & acoustics then I'm in heaven! But enough about me. Let's talk about this thing called grace for a moment. What is grace? Grace is God's undeserved love. Check out what the word of God says about it.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."Therefore i will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong".

Now who wouldn't want God's grace on full blast? I'm talking maximum capacity 24/7! I'm sure everyone reading can appreciate a God who thinks enough of you to extend his love daily despite your mishaps. Pretty cool, huh?

But here's the tricky part. The part that many of you probably will not like. What happens when God gets in your head & inside your heart challenging you to extend that grace to others? I'm not only talking about extending it to the loving, kind, individuals in your life. Oh that's a piece of cake.....But I'm particularly speaking about those people who make your life a living hell. What do you do then?

This is literally where the rubber meets the road.

This is that moment when you realize that simply talking about God's goodness isn't enough anymore. You now find yourself being challenged to demonstrate it. Yep that's how God rolls. And believe it or not this is his way of making us more spiritually mature. Despite the painful process.

Can i just be completely transparent with you ladies? I'm not going to lie there have been times in my life where i wish I actually had a pair of spiritual Bose speakers so that I can drown out God's voice within me. I know that sounds pretty bad. But we can't empower one another unless we are real with each other. Having said that, I've simply learned to do the best i can and rely on God to handle the rest. Bottom line God isn't going anywhere & neither are his life lessons. So I already know that until I get it, I'll just be repeating the same thing over & over again. sound familiar?

(Hint hint..... This is still an area that I personally struggle with to this day.)

God's grace is one of his greatest gifts to mankind! It's simply magnificent when he bestows it upon us. But it becomes transcendent once we learn to extend it to others! Empowerment ladies isn't about how strong & tough we are. But instead it's about humility. We become giants when we learn to shrink. We become strong we learn to rest in the arms of the Almighty one. Trusting him every step of the way. This is the example Christ demonstrated on his way to the cross.

Luke 22:42

"Saying Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me; nevertheless not my will, but thy will be done."

So as you go forward in your daily journey I extend love & peace to each of you. I pray that you find your "it" and you OWN IT. That the chains of the world be broken off of you & that you walk in the light that God intended you to walk in. But always remember to do it gracefully!

With dedication & servitude

I'm not necessarily a religious man. But I have always found solace and wisdom in spiritual writings. I'm more of a seeker of the questions, than I am a seeker of finite answers. You're words about humility ring true. It's so true. I saw a sign once with a quote from the Dali Lama, it read: "Kindness is my religion." That says it all.

David I absolutely love the quote! "Kindness is my religion" That's the best religion there is as far as I'm concerned. Thanks for stopping by, I'm gonna head over to your site now and check it out. Wishing you God's continued blessings with all future writing endeavors!
