Clearly our country is in troubled waters when building a wall takes precedence over the well being of humanity. But having said that, I'm not here to take any political stance or bash president Trump for that matter. I'm here to take a God stance. Knowing what my bible says about love, in that it covers a multitude of sins I'm here to offer love as a bridge that connects us all together during these troubled times. So my prayer today & going forward is "Help me to build a bridge God & not a wall". A bridge that connects the hearts of your people.

1 Peter 4:8
"Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins."

I do believe that God can & will use this entire situation for his glory & honor. Often times he uses the most unlikely circumstances to show himself strong & mighty. So many stories in the bible illustrate my point but none quite like the children of Israel's story. Can you imagine spending 400 years in captivity for no reason at all other than the fact that you ran across an oppressive Pharaoh? My point is that God does eventually show up, no doubt about it.

Exodus 6
Then the Lord said to Moses, "Now you will see what I will do to Pharaoh: Because of my mighty hand he will let them go; because of my mighty hand he will drive them out of his country."

God also said to Moses, "I am the Lord". I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob as God Almighty, but by my name the Lord I did not make myself fully known to them. I also established my covenant with them to give them the land of Canaan, where they resided as foreigners. Moreover, I have heard the groaning of the Israelites, whom the Egyptians are enslaving, and I have remembered my covenant.

Therefore, say to the Israelites: "I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. I will free you from being slaves to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment. I will take you as my own people, and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. And I will bring you to the land I swore with uplifted hand to give to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob. I will give it to you as a possession. I am the Lord."

Moses reported this to the Israelites, but they did not listen to him because of their discouragement and harsh labor.

Then the Lord said to Moses, "Go, tell Pharaoh king of Egypt to let the Israelites go out of his country."

So in the meantime while we await God's response, why not build a bridge of love & unity that makes our country even stronger? I know Trump's campaign slogan was "Make America Great Again". Bottom line, the only way we truly do that is with God's love. The wall that Trump wants to build is to keep people out of the country. The bridge of love that I'm suggesting today is one that brings hope to a dark, dim situation. The answer isn't to keep people out the country the answer is to let God's love in.

As you go forward in your daily journey I extend love & peace to each of you. I pray that you find your "it" and that you OWN IT. That the chains of this world be broken off of you & that you walk in the light that God intended you to walk in.

With dedication & servitude
